The future of Æthelmearc must be secured. The Royal line must continue uninterrupted! To that end, on Oct. 17, 2026 starting at 9am and ending at 7pm, the Shire of Sunderoak will be hosting Fall Crown Tournament.

The event will be held at Camp Lutherlyn, 500 Lutherlyn Ln., Butler PA 16001.

Fees for the day are $20 for members, $10 children 5-17 years old and children under 5 are free. Non-members 18 and older will be charged an additional $10 non-member fee. Our Tollner will be Mistress Mahin Bantu Tabrizi (Selena Kaplan) (exchequer_(at)_sunderoak.aethelmearc.org) Checks should be written out to SCA PA INC- Shire of SunderOak and mailed to her at 143 Remil Drive, Butler, PA 16001. NOTE - Crown competitors please identify yourselves for expedited check in!

If you plan to join us, even if you don't pre-register, please email the head cook, THL Sorcha Mackenzie at (kcursitti_(at)_gmail.com) and include Fall Crown in the subject (this is so we can more accurately estimate needs to prepare for the sideboard.)

This is a dry site, so please refrain from bringing alcoholic beverages.

In the spirit of our ancestors and thier penchant for tournament culture, we are going to try including period dancing and bardic performances during the day to add to the pomp and circumstance. For those without a pavilion, Maitresse Yvianne de Castel d’Avignon will be hosting a Gallery for the populace to observe the days activities.
